Be an Activist - Join the Million Baby Crawl

Most people don't realize that the traditional cleaning products sitting on the shelves at the store:

1.
do not include ALL ingredients used to create the product. Currently, manufactures are only required to list ingredients in cleaning agents that are 'disinfectants'. They don't have to tell you about some of the toxic 'incidental' ingredients that can cause cancer or other medical conditions.

2. have false advertising. When you see words like 'non-toxic', 'safe', 'natural', and 'eco-friendly' - you might intelligently assume that a company couldn't make such claims without there being a 'standard' by which to make the claim and regulation of that standard.
In fact, there are no government standards on these words and any company can just use those words without it being really true.

I encourage you to read more about myths of conventional cleaning products through this great article by Christopher Gavigan at Healthy Child, Healthy World.
